In 2019, Artina Promotional Products created the Choose Kind Foundation to honor the legacy of the family matriarch, Sue Bouzounis. Sue was the wife of Chris, the founder of Artina and mother to Matina and Art, current owners. Sue was known for her extraordinarily compassionate nature and her dedication to volunteering and fundraising for numerous causes to assist those in need in central Ohio. Her kindness was contagious, and the name Choose Kind is a tribute to her legacy of spreading hope, strength and joy, which is the mission of the foundation. Since its inception, the Choose Kind Foundation has issued grants to Children’s Hunger Alliance, A Kid Again, Family Promise of Delaware County, Homeless Families Foundation, People in Need of Delaware County and Make-A-Day. The Choose Kind Foundation plans to continue to support organizations with a mission to help families and children facing situations of need such as homelessness, severe illness, financial distress and other challenges. Each year, the foundation will award grants to several organizations, in amounts aligned with fundraising results.
